Olivier is our principal consultant. He’s a French native. He has over 16 years of experience in aviation related projects.

After his engineering studies (graduate from French school Ecole des Mines d’Ales) and at the end of his national service in the French Air Force, he joined for 5 years AOM Industries (the MRO facility of AOM French Airline) at Nimes, France, performing base maintenance activities on Boeing and Mc Donnell Douglas products. In the Engineering Department, acting as a Group and Project Leader, he was in charge of several engineering and maintenance projects, involving airlines CAMO (MD80 and A340), heavy maintenance checks monitoring, cabin refurbishment working party management, aircraft induction and phase out coordination and also AOG’s management.

He then founded his own French limited company in 2002 and started to work as an independant consultant for major aircraft operators, lessors and MRO facilities.

From 2002 to 2008, Olivier traveled extensively and was involved in a wide variety of projects, such as aircraft transitions (pre-lease or buy inspections, deliveries, returns), aircraft regulations compliance audits (in the frame of registry changes and issuance of certificates of airworthiness), lease or sale agreements delivery clauses assessments, and also elaboration of maintenance programs or heavy maintenance checks workpackages. He also actively participated in the management of special projects, such as purchasing of 2 DC8′s to the French Air Force through a call for tender (including returning the aircraft to service at an airport with no facility), as agent for a US operator, audit of the information system of a major MRO at 4 different facilities, or also as counsel to the French State in the elaboration of a call for tender to support a 25 aircraft fleet.

Since 2009, Olivier has specialized in back-office projects, still traveling occasionaly when required. He now assists CAMO’s in the frame of fleet renewal or software changes, to upload the airworthiness data in their information systems. He also performs audits of operational CAMO softwares to detect and correct airworthiness discrepancies in the database. The elaboration of airworthiness review files (including all status sheets), to demonstrate aircraft conformity to regulations (for instance to support a ferry permit, a C of A or at aircraft return to owner), are within the frame of his activities.

Olivier also graduated in Business Administration and Management in 2002 (University of Montpellier, France) and successfully passed his commercial pilot exam in 1999.
